Rita's Block of the Month Quilt

Full of Christmas Cheer, Shelly's bright and beautiful quilt has been loaded onto the Quilting Machine and the work has started.

Although just getting started on Shelly's quilt, I really enjoy working on this lovely and cheerful quilt.

Large quilts like this are a challenge to photograph while on the machine - the slight distortion is caused from trying to patch two wide-angle shots together.

Done - Shelly's large Christmas Quilt has been completed - the size = 75 in. x 72 in.

Detail of the quilting around the Appliqués. (It's virtually invisible!)

Free Hand Technique were used around Santa's head and other parts of the quilt.
